EFKA-1125 shows good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and excellent compatibility with commonly used resins in the coatings industry. Due to its primary hydroxyl groups, EFKA-1125 is able to crosslink with amino and polyisocyanate resins. EFKA-1125 should be used in combination with EFKA polymeric dispersants as the grinding vehicle to formulate solvent-based pigment concentrates. Depending on the application, the most suitable combinations are: EFKA-1125 and EFKA-4009 for pigment concentrates where cost effective performance is important and low shear force incorporation into the let-down is required EFKA-1125 and EFKA-4530 for pigment concentrates which have the added benefit of excellent compatibility with nitrocellulose based coatings Specially modified alkyd resin in alkylbenzene. Contains natural fatty acids. Used as a dispersing resin for production of resin minimal pigment concentrates.
