EFKA 1501 Fatty acid modified polymer Efka Additives Dispersing agents Coatings >> Waterborne Pigment concentrates Dispersing resin used to provide resin minimal pigment concentrates for water-based coatings Fatty acid modified polymer EFKA-1501 is a dispersing resin tailor-made for the production of aqueous-based resin minimal pigment concentrates. EFKA-1501 shows a good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and excellent compatibility with the resins most commonly used in water-based coatings. Due to its primary hydroxyl groups EFKA-1501 is able to crosslink with amino or polyisocyanate resins. Complete water-solubility will be obtained by addition of e.g. 8% AMP 90. EFKA-1501 is recommended as a grinding vehicle for use in combination with EFKA-4520 or EFKA-4530. Fatty acid modified polymer.
