It functions well during the application of paints and lacquers, and also prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring, pumping, etc. EFKA-2018 is especially suited for solvent-based wood finishes if foam formation is a problem when applied by spraying or curtain coating. EFKA-2018 has very good compatibility properties which makes it extremely suitable for use in clear coatings.
