EFKA 3883 Polysiloxane-modified polymer with unsaturated terminal groups Efka Additives Antiblocking agent Flow / Levelling agent >> Silicone Slip control >> Silicone Coatings >> Solventborne Coatings >> Solvent-Free/ High-Solids Coatings >> UV / Radiation Curing Wood & Furniture Coatings EFKA-3883 is a polysiloxane-modified polymer which is terminated by unsaturated groups. These reactive groups crosslink with coating and printing ink systems which are cured via photoinitiators or peroxides. The incorporation of EFKA-3883 in wood finishes or printing inks results in the following advantages: improved levelling slip and surface smoothness increased anti-blocking effect better substrate wetting more even distribution of matting agent EFKA-3883 can be used in all coating and printing ink systems, cured by vinyl polymerization. Addition: 0.2 - 1.0% on total formulation Incorporation: EFKA-3883 should be added at the end of the batch preparation. Reactive slip, levelling and anti-blocking additive for unsaturated resins or oligomeric systems. Polysiloxane-modified polymer which is terminated by unsaturated groups. These reactive groups crosslink with coating systems which are cured via photoinitiators or peroxides. Improved levelling, slip and surface smoothness, increased anti-blocking effect, better substrate wetting, more even distribution of matting agent. Recommended usage level: 0.2 - 1.0% on total formulation. Should be added at the end of the batch preparation.
