Substituted styrene acrylate copolymer. PLIOWAY® ULTRA 200 resin is a newtonian resin soluble in odourless "isoparaffinic" solvents. Appropriate monomer selection determines the high solubility in de-aromatised or isoparaffinic solvents. This resin is particularly adapted to the formulation of odourless interior matt and satin paints, stain sealer primers, water proofing sealers, multicolour paints, and other various applications such as correction fluids or inks and varnishes. Main properties associated with paints based on PLIOWAY ULTRA 200 are an excellent adhesion on most substrates without a primer and with a minimum surface preparation, tension free film formation, ideal for the renovation of old surfaces, blocks most stains in one coat (nicotine, smoke stains, water marks ...), excellent alkali resistance, direct application on solvent sensitive plastics (e.g. polystyrene tiles), non yellowing in the dark, fast dry and odorless: 2 coats in one day. Newtonian thermoplastic styrene acrylate copolymer. Used in interior matt and satin paints, multicolour paints, inks and varnishes. Offers very good alkali resistance.
