Substituted styrene acrylate copolymer. PLIOWAY® ULTRA G20 resin is a rheological film forming resin soluble in odourless "isoparaffinic" solvents. When dissolved in de-aromatised or isoparaffinic solvents, this resin develops a gel which provides outstanding rheological properties to finished paints and coatings: PLIOWAY ULTRA G20 brings an excellent balance between sag resistance and levelling, eliminating the need for any external rheological additives. Used alone or in combination with PLIOWAY ULTRA 200, the newtonian grade, PLIOWAY ULTRA G20 is particularly well adapted to the formulation of odourless interior flat or textured paints, and of a wide range of other interior finishes (water proofing sealer, polychrome gel...). PLIOWAY ULTRA G20 can also be used as a film forming rheology modifier in various coatings including inks & varnishes. Interior paints based on PLIOWAY ULTRA 200 and PLIOWAY ULTRA G20 have excellent adhesion without a primer, very good alkali resistance, cover most stains and give a tension free film ideal for the renovation of old surfaces.
