It is an excellent all-around performer used to improve slip, leveling, and gloss in a wide variety of paints, inks, and coatings, including UV applications. Higher concentrations may provide better performance, although recoatability may prove an issue. ICM 1161 is typically added in the final thinning and color-matching step. Suitable diluents include aromatic solvents, mineral spirits, and water. Non-reacvtive silicone-glycol copolymer. Excellent all-around performer used to improve slip, leveling, and gloss. can also be used to improves mar, rub, abrasion and water resistance. Recommended usage level: 0.1-2.0% by weight, based upon total solids. Higher concentrations may provide better performance, although recoatability may prove an issue.
