LE-Wax 453 N Ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer 104912-80-3 Leuna Polymer Wax >> Polyethylene wax Coatings >> Waterborne Inks >> Water-based INKS LE-Wax 453 N is an oxidised low-molecular ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer wax, manufactured by high pressure polymerisation. It contains, apart from vinylacetate groups, hydroxyl, carboxyl, ester and keto groups. With this, the product has a higher polarity than oxidised polyethylene waxes and is emulsifiable with high solid content. It is relatively soft and has a high flexibility and adhesion at low viscosity. It is used in printing inks and lacquer industry: low-solvent and waterborne printing inks and lacquers, metallic lacquers / anti-settling, leather processing: additive for synthetic resin dispersion used for finishing, fulling and smoothing of upper leather, plastics processing industry: pigment and additive concentrates, hot-melt adhesive industry: special applications and in care product industry. Oxidized, low-molecular weight, ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer. Used in low-solvent and aqueous printing inks and lacquers and metallic lacquers. Contains hydroxyl, carboxyl, ester and keto-groups. Offers high polarity. Can be emulsified with a high solids content. Provides high flexibility and adhesion and low viscosity.
