Lonzacure M-CDEA-PQ 4,4'-Methylenebis-(3-chloro, 2,6-diethyl)-aniline 106246-33-7 Lonza Crosslinking / Coupling / Curing Agents >> Amine Epoxy Resins Polyurethane Soluble in organic solvents Dispersible in polyols 4,4'-methylenebis-(3-chloro, 2,6-diethyl)-aniline. Low color grade. Especially suitable in applications where outstanding longterm light stability is requested eg coatings and transparent parts. Best results are achieved in combination with aliphatic isocyanates and light stabilizers. Lonzacure M-CDEA-PQ is an excellent chain extender for elastomeric polyurethanes (PU) and also a curing agent for epoxides (EP). It provides improved mechanical and dynamic properties which cannot be achieved with standard formulations. In addition it may be used as a precursor for polyimides and as an intermediate for organic syntheses. PU formulations based on Lonzacure M-CDEA-PQ are suitable for cast elastomers, RIM elastomers, coatings, adhesives, elastomeric foams and thermoplastic PU (TPU). In EP it is suitable for tooling, prepregs and chemical resistant coatings. excellent dynamics, excellent temperature resistance, low water absorption, hydrolytic stability, light stability excellent chemical stability against acidic and basic reagents, high Tg (up to 230°C), not toxic, approved for food contact in EU No hazardous Substance Excellent Mechanical Properties Excellent Dynamic Performance - Low Heat Build Up Superior Hydrolytic Resistance Temperature Resistance up to 130 °C Good Light/Colour Stability Low color benzenamine. Used as a chain extender for elastomeric polyurethanes and as a curing agent for epoxides in chemical resistant coatings. Provides very good dynamics, temperature, chemical and abrasion resistance, low water absorption, and hydrolytic and light stability in polyurethanes. Offers very good chemical stability against acidic and basic reagents, high Tg (up to 230°C) and no toxicity in epoxides. Gives outstanding longterm light stability. Can be used in combination with aliphatic isocyanates and light stabilizers. Imparts very good mechanical properties and low heat build up.
