SAA 100 is a hard, thermoplastic material with a low molecular weight. Because of their high hydroxyl and aromatic content, SAA 100 Copolymer enhance adhesion, gloss, weatherability, water-resistance, chemical resistance and hardness of most coating systems and inks. Polyester coating applications of SAA 100 include appliance finishes, coil coatings and general-purpose baking enamels. Alkyd coatings include wood finishes, inks, industrial maintenance paints, floor paints and latex house paints. Manufacturers of automobiles, industrial equipment and farm machinery also apply anti-corrosion primers that include SAA. Other potential applications include powder coatings and water-borne formulations. Hard, thermoplastic material with a low molecular weight. Used in polyester, urethane and alkyd coatings and in architectural coatings. Enhance adhesion, gloss, weatherability, water-resistance, chemical resistance and hardness of most coating systems and inks.
