MOLY-WHITE® MZAP is a low cost white corrosion-inhibiting pigment designed for solvent or water based coatings. Corrosion inhibitor. Provides improved adhesion of water-based coatings applied over ferrous metal substrates. White color. MOLY-WHITE® MZAP is a bright white pigment, which can be used to formulate white primers or one -coat systems. Heat Stability. MOLY-WHITE® MZAP has been designed with low, controlled solubility to provide stability in water-based systems of traditionally low bivalent ion stability. Used in: Automotive/Tractor/Construction Equipment. Primers and finish coats for automobiles, trucks, tractors, and construction machinery and equipment. Latex Industrial Maintenance Coatings. For protection of metal surfaces exposed to corrosive environments, can be used in certain acrylic latex formulations for bridge and marine coatings in salt-water environments. All surface Metal Primers and Self-Priming Coatings. For application over a variety of substrates including clean hot or rolled steel, commercial blast cleaned rusty steel and wire-brushed rusty steel.
