OMNOVA Solutions Announces Price Increases in Specialty Chemicals

FAIRLAWN, OHIO -- OMNOVA Solutions' Specialty Chemicals business announced a price increase of $0.10 per dry pound for styrene butadiene based emulsion polymers. The increase is effective February 15, 2010 for all specialty markets, including coatings, tape & adhesives, nonwovens, floor care, tire cord and construction, and is necessitated by the continuing escalation of chemical feedstock costs, specifically styrene and butadiene monomers.
