Saint Paul, MN -- Rayven Inc., a leading provider of
laminating, coating and converting services and expertise, has installed
its new coating line at the company's St. Paul, Minnesota manufacturing
facility. The new coating line is 72" wide and is designed to run
up to 800 fpm. The wide width and high speed allow Rayven to economically
produce larger volumes of release liner meaning customers benefit from
the increased output without sacrificing quality. Already delivering broad
product and service offerings, the installation of the new line further
enhances Rayven's ability to offer unique custom tailored solutions that
meet its customers varied application needs.

Rayven completed the installation of their new state-of-the-art
coating line in May 2004. The new coating line will be running at three
times the speed of Rayven's existing coating lines and will significantly
increase the output and productivity at Rayven to meet volume demands.
Coating Line Features
Rayven's new line was custom built to include flexible
tooling to allow rapid change over, enhancing the ability to run mid-sized
projects more profitably. Other feature benefits of Rayven's line include
dual side capabilities (coating on one side and flexographic printing
on the other side).
The line is also designed to coat both films and papers
of various weights, including thin films down to 48 gauge (12 micron).
The new line will be running, polyester, polypropylene, BOPP, HDPE, MDPE,
LDPE, styrene , papers, and resin coated papers.
Rayven has available a wide range of standard release
chemistries that allow them to offer a release liner solution for most
adhesive applications. Rayven can also customize release formulations
if needed in order to meet specific customer needs.
