SpecialChem - Sep 27, 2004

Saint Paul, MN -- Rayven Inc., a leading provider of laminating, coating and converting services and expertise, has installed its new coating line at the company's St. Paul, Minnesota manufacturing facility. The new coating line is 72" wide and is designed to run up to 800 fpm. The wide width and high speed allow Rayven to economically produce larger volumes of release liner meaning customers benefit from the increased output without sacrificing quality. Already delivering broad product and service offerings, the installation of the new line further enhances Rayven's ability to offer unique custom tailored solutions that meet its customers varied application needs.

The line is also designed to coat both films and papers of various weights, including thin films down to 48 gauge (12 micron). The new line will be running, polyester, polypropylene, BOPP, HDPE, MDPE, LDPE, styrene , papers, and resin coated papers.

Rayven has available a wide range of standard release chemistries that allow them to offer a release liner solution for most adhesive applications. Rayven can also customize release formulations if needed in order to meet specific customer needs.
