ITW Gema to Begin OptiFlex®2 Manual Unit Line for Electrostatic Powder Coating

Under the name of OptiFlex®2, ITW Gema GmbH is launching a new manual unit line for electrostatic powder coating. OptiFlex®2 offers users state-of-the-art technology for outstanding application performance. It effortlessly processes all powders and applies surface coatings to parts with complex designs with excellent efficiency and in exceptional quality, worldwide and even under extremely difficult conditions: any powder - any part -any place.

The highlights of the new product line include the powerful injector IG06 and the newly developed spray nozzles. On the basis of their design and the use of high-quality materials, they are optimized to achieve top efficiency levels and outstanding coating results.

PowerClean™ is a new development which efficiently cleans the entire powder path from the injector to the tip of the spray gun. With this effective rinsing function, OptiFlex®2 improves productivity when processing difficult powders and ensures easy color change.

The Precise Charge Control mode (PCC™) controls the current even in low ampere ranges with extreme precision, thereby preventing overloading even for demanding powders such as metallic and effect paints and improving penetration for complex part geometries.
