Yet again Flint Group will be participating at ProFlex, showcasing innovative products, technologies and sustainable solutions. Visitors to the 66 th DFTA symposium that will take place on September 11-12 at the University of Media in Stuttgart , can find out about the latest offers at stand #22.
Flint Group Flexographic Products sets the benchmark for high quality flexo printing with the new nyloflex® ACE . The plate combines highest print quality with superior efficiency. The new nyloflex® ACE is quick, consistent and reliable in processing. The plate provides advanced cleaning behaviour and runs considerably longer without cleaning stops. Stable quality and consistency during the entire run length, superior durability and a long lifetime make it very economical. Especially in combination with new technologies, such as HD Flexo or nyloflex® NExT, the plate offers high-class print results.
nyloflex® NExT , Flint Group's high intensity exposure technology, is the smart solution for a precise defined surface of Flat Top Dots in flexo printing. It allows an easy and sharp reproduction of finest elements, screens, text and fine line work onto flexographic printing plates. nyloflex® NExT can easily be implemented into the existing digital workflow and there is no need for additional consumables.
The division Packaging and Narrow Web presents VarioLam, a PUR-based ink system for all major films in packaging printing. The future-oriented "multi purpose" system is specifically designed for high performance lamination printing including retort applications, for laminations with both solvent-based and solvent-free adhesives and is free of PVB, NC and monomeric plasticizer. VarioLam - the next generation flexo ink series with focus on lamination structures - is suitable especially for stand up pouches.
The water-based flexo ink series Premo® Film SXS provides a sustainable solution for surface printing on polyolefin films. Developed in order to meet the increased demand for sustainable packaging solutions, the ink series is suitable for compostable packaging. Premo® Film SXS is based on a unique self cross-linking technology that enables the ink film to have very good adhesion to non absorbent substrates such as oPP and PE. Adhesion characteristics with Premo® Film SXS are far better than with any conventional water-based ink. Its good adhesion makes it ideal for stringent end-use applications such as carrier and ice cube bags.
The topic of sustainable innovation is also the focus of the lecture "New generation of water-based inks for film printing" which will be presented by Marc Los, Flint Group Technology Manager Paper Packaging and Jan van Delft, Technical Marketing Specialist Printing & Packaging at BASF Nederland B.V., on September 11 at 3p.m. in room #2 of the symposium.
