LANXESS is organized into 3 major segments:

• Performance Polymers
  With the business units Butyl Rubber, Performance Butadiene Rubbers, Semi-Crystalline Products and Technical Rubber Products all of our polymer-based businesses were combined in the Performance Polymers segment.
• Advanced Intermediates
  The Advanced Intermediates division combines the business operations in the fields of basic and fine chemicals. The business units Basic Chemicals and Saltigo belong to this segment.
• Performance Chemicals
  The Performance Chemicals segment focuses on specialty products and combines the business units Functional Chemicals, Inorganic Pigments, Ion Exchange Resins, Leather, Material Protection Products, Rhein Chemie und Rubber Chemicals.

Inside the Functional chemicals business unit, the colorant business represents an important part.
