No Discoloration

Biocides without paint discoloration An important factor when you are choosing a biocide is its stability in a variety of paint formulations. Some biocide active ingredients react with the paint and may alter the properties of the paint. For example, IPBC may cause discoloration problems in paints when it is used at high concentrations (when used at low concentration, however, it causes no discoloration). DCOIT is a very efficient active biocide against fungi, algae and bacteria and is highly compatible with paints, causing no discoloration.
