Architectural Coatings
When formulating a low- or VOC-free architectural coating, it has been demonstrated
that Capstone® fluorosurfactants are most useful and
cost-effective because of their multiple functions.
Not only will they minimize the use of other additives (defoamers, wetting
agents, leveling aids, anti-block additives, and open-time extenders), they will
also provide traditional oil repellency. All these attributes make them attractive
to formulators in developing
dirt pick-up resistant exterior paints.

Recommended use rate of Capstone® FS-61 in these resin
system related paints is 200-300 ppm active ingredient in wet paint formulation.
