Color
Beta-Napthol red pigments have a narrow color range: mid red to orange. Toluidine
red (Cl Pigment Red 3) and dinitroaniline orange (Cl Pigment Orange 5) can be obtained
in a variety of tones. Much depends on the particle size distribution of the commercial
products and the manufacturing conditions.
Uses
Beta-Naphthol red pigments are used in solvent-based and water-based decorative
paints and industrial paints.
Price
These pigments are relatively cheap.
