Color and Tinctorial strength
It is possible for this pigment to be prepared in an extremely opaque form with
a reddish yellow shade. In its transparent form, however, it is much greener and
has higher tinctorial strength.
Uses
Quinophthalone pigment is used as a chrome replacement in high quality finishes.
