To optimize the performance of the coating film, plasticizers are used. They influence many performance aspects of the formulated films and several key areas impacted are : film flexibility, film formation, rheology and VOC.
The aim of this section is to highlight the benefits of a new generation of plasticizer called Hexamoll® DINCH. This additive comes with an excellent toxicological profile and has been designed as a phthalate alternative.
