What is an Oxazolidine?
- A versatile additive for both 1K and 2K solvent borne and high solids polyurethane systems
- A five membered hetrocyclic ring
structure containing nitrogen and oxygen
- It reacts with moisture to produce amine and alcohol groups which then react with isocyanates

Oxazolidines offer great advantages
in aliphatic PU systems
- Fast curing with no evolution of carbon dioxide gas
- Promote faster through cure in high build 1K systems
- Accelerate the cure of low NCO prepolymers
- Can be used to reduce VOC in high solids
2K systems
