Interior flat
These coatings are formulated at relatively high levels of extenders and TiO2 pigments. They represent a unique surface treatment which maximizes air void hiding in Critical Pigment Volume Concentration (CPVC) systems providing superior tinting strength performance in flat interior architectural coatings.
Maximizing use of this unique product may diminish coatings defects normally associated with touch-up.
- Ti Pure® R-931 is designed for critical PVC formulas. It has been proven in lab studies and in commercial use to deliver the highest coverage tint strength in those paints containing high extender loadings and TiO2 levels. It has high levels of Alumina and Silica. These oxides are found as small spacer particles that keep the TiO2 well separated in crowded paint systems. This optimizes the scattering efficiency of the TiO2 and provides the highest hiding power, tint strength and whiteness in these systems.
Ti Pure® R-931 is then highly recommended for flat interior paints.
- Ti Pure® R-902+ has been specially designed to give maximum initial gloss, good hiding power and satisfies tint retention over a wide range of solvent-based and aqueous systems. Both available in slurry and dry forms, this pigment is also used in both alkyd and emulsion paint.
Ti Pure® R-902+ is recommended for interior semi-gloss coatings.
